Beef Bourguignon w/ Fettuccine Alfredo




Abis beli majalah Foodtown nih dr Bookfair. Isinya ada macam2 resep salah satunya adalah Beef Bourguignon. Kyknya sih yummy tuk dicoba. Jadi deh kemarin sore bikin ini. Ternyata super duper yummy, bawaannya pengen nambah terus...gawat bisa gemuk deh he3
Ini resepnya.

Beef Bourguignon

3 tbs Olive oil
100g streaky bacon, diced (aku pk ham aja)
750g blade or chuck steak, cut into large chunks
3 tbs flour
1 large onion cut into wedges, or 12 small shallots
2 cloves garlic, crushed
150g button mushroom
3/4 cup red wine (merk apa aja tergantung selera)-aku pk merlott
3/4 cup beef stock
2 tsp chopped fresh thyme (aku pk yg dried thyme)
2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary(aku ngga pk)
1 bay leaf(ngga punya jd ngga pk)
1/2 tsp salt
freshly ground black paper

Direction:
1. preheat the oven 160 degree C. Heat 2 tbs of oil in a frying pan and brown the bacon over hight heat. Set aside on paper tower to drain.
2. Toss the beef with the flour and add to the pan in batches to brown. Transfer to a large casserole dish with the bacon.
3. Add the remaining oil to the pan and quickly brown the onion, garlic and mushrooms. Add these to the casserole along w/ the wine, stock, herbs, salt & pepper.
4. Cover the casserole and bake for 2 hours or until the beef is tender, stirring occasionally. Serve with fettucine and mixed vegetables.
Serve 4-6

Fettuccine Alfredo
  • 250 g fettuccini pasta
  • 3tbs butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 300 ml heavy cream
  • 1/2 large onion, chopped
  • 200 g freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add fettucine pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  2. In a large skillet melt the butter and add the chopped garlic n onion. Cook on low for about 5 minutes, stirring often, making sure not to burn the garlic.
  3. Pour the cream into the frying pan. Increase the heat to medium-high. As the cream starts to boil, mix rapidly using a whisk.
  4. Add 1 cup of the Parmesan cheese and continue to mix the cream. Pour in the remaining Parmesan and the parsley, mix until smooth. Immediately remove from stove. Serve over cooked pasta.

I love you Joanna


Ngga tau mo nulis apa, tp yg jelas gw pengen ngomong aja ke anak gw Joanna, betapa sayangnya gw sama dia n betapa dia merubah hari2 gw menjadi lebih baik dr seblmnya. Moga2 gw bisa jadi mama yg baik buat dia n bisa membantu dia bertumbuh menjadi org yg baik di hadapan Tuhan n orang2 sekitarnya.

Nicolas Birthday in Storyplace-Tepapa Museum

Udh lama ngga ke Tepapa Museum, ternyata dpt undangan bday party Nicolas-The Achmadis. Jadi deh kita sekeluarga kesana dlm rangka merayakan ultah ke 3 th-nya Nic. Kita dtgnya udh rada telat nih, untung aja ngga paling terakhir he3....
Acaranya khusus buat anak2 yaitu story time, sing a song, play games. Seru bgt!!! Joanna(my baby) excited bgt terutama pas ngunjungin MacDonal Farm, ada moomoo cow,BaaBaa sheep,Monkey,Dog etc. Yg paling berkesan buat Joanna adalah ayam..yep dia seneng bgt ama ayamnya ampe bawa telor ayamnya(replica) kemana2 ngga mau dilepas n di masukin ke mulutnya. Ini foto dia pas maling telor he3....

Puas main2 di MacDonal farm, saatnya tiup lilin n dengerin cerita deh. Ngga terasa acaranya udh wktnya selesai, sblm pulang, anak2 pd dpt stamp di tangan. Ngga ketinggalan Joanna ikutan ngantri tuk dpt stamp :-)

Pulangnya kita semua pd mampir di cafenya, kebetulan anak2 pd dpt paket makanan yg super yummy plus nice cupcake, sedangkan ortunya sibuk ngupi2 smbl ngobrol2. Met ultah sekali lagi buat Nicolas, cpt gede n tmbh pinter yaa :-)
